Invitations stay usable for 7 days while they remain pending. If your link
has expired, ask your admin to resend the invitation from the invitations
table.
Before you start
- You have an invitation email from Flip for the organisation you’re joining.
- You can open the invite on the same email address the admin invited.
- Your invitation is still pending and inside the 7-day window.
Accept your invitation
1
Open the invitation email
Find the Flip invitation in your inbox and open the link. That takes you into
Flip’s accept flow for your organisation.
2
Let Flip check the invitation
Flip checks that the invitation is still valid. If the link has expired,
already been used, or can’t be found, you’ll see a clear message instead of
the join form — ask your admin to resend or send a new invite.
3
Create an account or sign in
What you see next depends on whether you already have a Flip profile:
- New to Flip — you’ll get the accept invitation form. Enter your First name, Last name, and a Password. Your email is already filled in from the invitation and can’t be changed.
- Already have a Flip account — you’ll be asked to sign in with the invited email and your existing password.
- Already signed in with the invited email — Flip can join you to the organisation straight away.
4
Join the organisation
Submit the form. Flip creates or updates your profile, adds you to the
organisation with the role and member type your admin chose, and marks the
invitation as used. You’re then taken into Flip.
The accept form shows which organisation invited you and the role you’ve been
assigned. For supplier invites, you’ll also see the supplier you’re joining.
What happens when you accept
When you finish the form, Flip:- Confirms you’re signed in as the invited email.
- Checks the invitation is still pending and not expired.
- Saves your name on your profile.
- Adds you as a member of the organisation (or supplier, for supplier invites).
- Marks the invitation as responded so the same link can’t be reused.
If something goes wrong
Tips for a smooth first login
- Use the email that received the invitation — not a personal alias or another work account.
- Choose a password that meets Flip’s requirements (length, upper and lower case, a number, and a special character).
- If you’re joining more than one organisation over time, keep using the same Flip account email so invites route to the sign-in path instead of creating a second account.
